2011 Christmas Pageant Registration

We invite children in Kindergarten to 5th Grade to participate in the Parish Christmas Pageant, which takes place at Mass on Christmas Eve.
- REHEARSALS take place on SATURDAY, December 3rd, 10th and 17th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Church. Attendance at rehearsals is very important!
- REGISTRATION – Please submit the form below by Tuesday, November 29th, so that we know what kind of numbers to expect. When you arrive on December 3rd, you will complete any additional registration requirements and children may choose (or be assigned) a role or character. (Assigned roles include Mary, Joseph, Narrators, etc; children may select to be angels, shepherds or animals as they wish!)
- LEADERS – Our Pageant Coordinator is Mallory Pignatari. Responsible pastoral staff member is Fergal King, our Parish Liturgist.
- COSTUMES – Information on costumes will be available on December 3rd. We have a few on hand, but many are usually designed by parents etc. – we will have instructions on doing this simply and cheaply as needed! Please see overleaf to indicate character choices. IMPORTANT: THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT ANY CHOICE MADE ON THIS FORM WILL RESULT IN YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY GETTING THAT PART. THIS WILL SIMPLY HELP US AS WE PLAN FOR THE PAGEANT! PREPARE YOUR CHILD ACCORDINGLY!
- SONGS – On December 3rd you will receive a song sheet for the pageant. The children are expected to more or less memorize these songs by Christmas Eve. We ask parents to help with this. Additionally, each rehearsal will begin with a song rehearsal with Mr. King.
- MISCELLANEOUS – Members of the Heavenly Voices, who will be singing at the 4 PM Mass, MAY also participate in the pageant and MAY sing in the choir wearing their costume! Also, parents are welcome to stay for the rehearsals, and may even be called upon to assist if needed.
- WHEN? – The Pageant will take place at both the 4 PM and 6 PM Masses on Christmas Eve. Keep in mind that the 4 PM is very crowded . . . consider the 6 PM as a less hectic alternative!
