Liturgical Ministry At St. Margaret Mary

Good liturgy builds up faith, bad liturgy destroys it.

Serving God and Community

All of us who attend Liturgy to praise, thank and worship our Lord are participants in that great act of praise. Sacrosanctum Concilium - the defining template on Liturgy from the Second Vatican Council calls for full, concious, active participation in the liturgy. In our prayers, gestures and song this is what we endeavor to do.

All baptized Catholics are invited to go gruther and fulfill additional roles in the Liturgy according to their particular gifts and aptitudes and their desire to serve. Follow any of the links in the sidebar on the left for more informatio on that particular ministry. Some require very little time and talent, others are more particular or demanding. Hopefully something there will appeal to you in your particular situation in life.

We invite your participation in these special ministries. If you are unsure how you can contribute, don't hesitate to call Fergal King, Director of Music and Liturgy at 847-658-7625, or contact electronically.
