Liturgy Commission

The source and the summit of the Church's life.

Visioning and Planning

The Liturgy Commission is a small group of parishioners with some knowledge of Liturgy who meet on a monthly basis to discuss, give community feedback, and advise the Director of Liturgy and the Pastor on a consultative basis. Often, their contribution is quite intangible when the deal in ideas and imagination for the future - at other times their function is highly practical as they choose the focus for liturgical seasons, or plan the logistics of Holyweek. The Liturgy Commission do an excellent job of perceiving where there are issues that need to be addressed and suggesting suitable ways to address those issues.

The Liturgy Commission is not an open group as it must remain small in order to be effective. However, if you have input on the liturgy that you would like them to consider feel free to contact or approach any member, or contact/write to Fergal King, Director of Music and Liturgy. Contrary and minority views are not only invited but encouraged - but only in a spirit of civility and collegiality! No venting, please!

If you truly feel that you could make a contribution to this group and are prepared to faithfully attend the monthly meetings (2nd Tuesday of the month), call or contact Fergal King to arrange an appointment.
